Profiles of the School Governors
John Connell - Chair of governors
I attended both the infants and junior schools (although a few years ago now). I am pleased to say the excellent teaching and friendships I formed helped to form my future direction. I am pleased that my son, who is in Year 1, has that same opportunity and I will strive as Governor to ensure that all the children get the same opportunity.
As a Governor, I try to learn from other schools, engage with the leadership team, teachers, children and other parents to help the school continuously improve.
We all care passionately about the opportunities for our children and together we can give them a great fun start to learning which will stay with them for a lifetime.
NICK PALMER - VICE CHAIR OF GOVERNORS
I have two children at Three Bridges Primary School and have been very impressed with the enthusiastic and friendly environment in which the school is run.
Whilst at work, I am a Director of an engineering company which has provided me with many transferable skills to support the Governing Body. I have therefore chosen to become a governor to assist the school and its staff and help and ensure they continue the excellent work that has been performed so far to take the school to the next level.
