Dear Parents and Carers,

The Department for Education has made the decision for all children to return to school in September. As the majority of the children will not have been in school since March, we are planning to welcome them all back in phases as follows:

Year 1 children start coming to school on the 7th and 8th on a part time basis (the children will be organised into two groups; Group A (10:00 – 1:30) and B (11:30 to 3:00), then full time from 9th.
Year 2 - start on the 8th September;
Year 3 - start on the 7th September;
Year 4 - start on the 8th September;
Year 5 - start on the 8th September;
Year 6 - start on the 7th September.
Home learning will be provided for children who do not start until 8th September.

If your children are due to finish at the same time, please collect the younger child first. Class teachers will wait with the children until they are all collected. Parents and carers will need to drop off and collect promptly.

Thank you for your patience, kindness and understanding over the past few months. This has been so challenging for us all and we have really missed working with you and your children. We will be working hard in September to get your child ready to catch up with their learning so thank you in advance for supporting us by bringing your child in on the correct day and at the correct time after the holiday.
We really appreciate everything that you have done to support us with home learning during this time. We look forward to getting back to normal over the coming weeks and months.
Mrs Trudy Emberson
