From tiny acorns...

New oak trees on the Upper Site
Last week, Mr Cooben came to help us plant two new oak trees in the grounds of the Upper Site. Mr Cooben is the Tree Warden for the area and an expert in all things aboreal. Children from across Key Stage 2 were shown by Mr Cooben how to ensure an oak sapling has the best chance of survival. With a little luck our new trees will be as big as our other oak trees in seventy years time!
