A busy week of competitions

This week Three Bridges Primary School had a variety of sporting competitions.

The girls football team kick started the week in their final football tournament of the league. Their first game was an unfortunate 2-0 loss to a strong Maidenbower side. But the girls came back with a 3-0 win against Langley Green! Not only that but Mila Rai scored all three goals! It was a great game. Final league results will come out soon ...

On Wednesday we had 2 competitions.

There was a Captainball competition for the year 3/4's.  The captainball team had a blinding competition where they won 6 out of 6 games! This meant Three Bridges won the whole competition. A very big well done to all that took part in the captainball competition. Really nice to see such a competitive and able team.

The other competition was a basketball one for the year 5/6's. We had enough to bring two teams to this competition and both teams played very well. All games were close apart from a few. And we even had both Three Bridges teams play each other which was very interesting! In the end, one of our teams finished 5th and our other team finished 4th. Well done to both teams.

Finally, there was a netball festival on Thursday. There were no winners but Mr Wells and Mr Spackman were given a gold medal and were told to choose who on the team deserves it most. It was a very tricky decision as everyone who participated did brilliantly but the person who shone the most in terms of skill, attitude and behaviour was ... Aleks! Well done Aleks and well done the rest of the team.

Excellent work Three Bridges Primary.
