Silver Coin Challenge

The Friends of Three Bridges Primary School hold their Annual Silver Coin Challenge

On Tuesday 5th October we had our annual Silver Coin Challenge. The children are encouraged to bring in as many silver coins (sterling) as they can. All the coins for each class are lined up to see which class has the longest line.

Each year this is the first fundraising event The Friends of Three Bridges Primary School hold.

Chair of The Friends, Lauren Wennington announced the following:

"Thank you so much for the amazing response to the Silver Coin Challenge. The children seemed to really enjoy lining up their coins and taking part in the competition. Thank you also to all the volunteers who helped on the day, we really could not have done it without you.

It was very tight, especially on the Lower Site, and I'm pleased to announce that the winners are:

Lower Site: APPLE CLASS with a line of 15 meters. They will have £70 to spend for their class.

Upper Site: BEECH CLASS with a line of 19.14 meters. They will have an amazing £110 to spend!

The whole school made a total of an incredible £798.61. THANK YOU ALL."

The Friends of Three Bridges Primary School are such a great support for the school raising vital funds to enhance the leaning for all children. Please see our page for The Friends which has further information about the charity and how you can help.
