Primary School Cross Country event

Three Bridges Primary School pupils excelled at the Primary School Cross Country Event.

On Friday 22nd March Three Bridges Primary School took part in the Primary School Cross Country Event held at Hazelwick School and our pupils performed brilliantly.

We are so proud of all the children who took part this year and are pleased to announce that Three Bridges Primary School were awarded:

  • 3rd place in the Year 5 & 6 race,
  • 3rd place in the Year 3 & 4 race,
  • 3rd place in the Overall Junior School category, and
  • 4th place in the Year 1 & 2 race.

These are excellent results and everyone who took part is sent our well deserved congratulations.

Special congratulations go to:

  • Kian in Beech Class who won first place in the Boys Year 3 & 4 race, and
  • Bethanie in Pine Class who won first place in the Girls Year 1 & 2 race.

Well done to you both on such incredible achievements.

Mrs Emberson, Headteacher, was really proud of the children; "We did ever so well at the Cross Country last Friday. Thank you to Mrs Davies and Ms Showk for accompanying the children; we had a huge group of very keen runners - I am sure our Daily Mile has something to do with this! I would like to congratulate Kian from Year 4 and Bethanie from Year 2, who both came first out of all the schools in the locality. Patrick from Year 1 deserves a special mention as he ran with Year 5 boys but still performed exceptionally well. As ever, the behaviour of our children was commended - obviously I am not at all surprised - the children at Three Bridges are simply the best!

Hazelwick School hosted the event and commented "It was a great event and it was so lovely to see hundreds of students competing and hundreds of parents watching".
